Dhiraj is our newest team member who joined us just a week ago. He has been working all around the world but the last company he worked at was Detectify and before that Spotify. 

What inspired you to pursue a career in data engineering?
Coming to the field of data engineering almost happened by chance for me. It was a very early stage of Hadoop when I joined the bandwagon while it was in a very nascent stage. After joining the field I soon realized this field is going to grow in the future and I had a keen interest in learning more about it and more or less becoming a part of this journey. After the advent of AI, I feel this is still the most relevant field and will define the future direction of it.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am a father of two kids, so most of my time is devoted to the family. Most of it is spent on house chores. In my free time, I like to do some artwork with my daughter and play ball with my son. If they are already occupied I like to listen to music.
